Petronas University Malaysia is one of the best technological universities in Malaysia, founded in 1997. Under the designation of Petronas Technology Institute (IUP) it was then recognized as a university with the approval of the Malaysian Ministry of Education. Since the main goal of this university is to prepare the human capacity required to work in Petronas in order to complete oil projects, this university tops the list of superior universities. It is worth noting that Petronas University also holds joint courses in the oil branch in cooperation with the three accredited French and British universities.
