About university:

Istanbul Okan University was established in 1999 in Istanbul by the Okan Foundation for Culture, Education and Sports.

The university is located on the Asian side of the Tuzla district of Istanbul and has 3 campuses.

Its university campuses are distinguished by the finest modern architectural designs. They include modern classrooms, laboratories, medical, engineering and technical laboratories, and 11 research centres, including the European Union Research Centre, the Center for Cultural Research and Studies, the Computer and Application Research Centre, and 5 training and qualification centres, such as the Confucius Institute, the Culinary Arts Centre, The Center for Culinary Arts and the Center for Applied Learning and Research.

 In addition to a huge library that includes volumes and sources in all cultures and languages, in addition to conference halls, a fitness center, a shopping center, a swimming pool, a gymnasium that can accommodate 400 people, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, a football field, and student clubs that organize trips to historical sites and regions. Tourism through the Tourism Club, as well as various cafes and restaurants

It is an approach taken by Istanbul Okan University to qualify its students by preparing many activities and hosting international lecturers to prepare its students for a successful professional life on the theoretical and practical levels, as it provides students with work in companies as part of a program that helps students learn about professional life and develop their skills, after which a certificate is presented. For students who have completed practical training, in addition to experience certificates, it also helps in developing and improving society by providing education with the highest quality standards.
