Yeditepe university is a private university that was established in 1996 AD under Article 4142 of the Law of the Supreme Authority for Culture and Education in Turkey. It was founded by Mr. Badr al-Din Dalan according to modern standards through which he was interested in caring for young people and focusing on advanced education methods in all departments. The university attracted students from all over the world.

The language of instruction is English, and it includes 12 colleges and schools of foreign languages ​​in addition to a vocational training school. The university is considered one of the best Turkish universities, and is ranked among the best 50 Turkish universities at the local level. The university is distinguished by its medical specializations for the undergraduate level, such as the College of Human Medicine, the College of Dentistry, and the College of Pharmacy. In addition to its strength in its medical specializations at the postgraduate level, the university began including the College of Dentistry and other colleges at the postgraduate level in the year 2000-2001 in the Koztepe area on the famous Baghdad Street.
